The darkroom contact print was a roll of negatives laid on photographic paper: black all round, every frame in its strip. This layout draws that look from your files. Put the roll number and film stock in the title ("ROLL 14 · TRI-X") and it's printed along the film edge.

16-bit TIFF scans work: they're read strip by strip and shrunk as they're read. The black page takes plenty of ink; switch Look to Light proof for a cheaper archive copy.
